Frequently Asked Questions

How quickly can I get my building report?

In most cases, your written builder's report is emailed within 24 hours of the onsite inspection. For more complex properties, this may extend to 48 hours – we will confirm timeframes at booking.

Are your reports accepted by banks as a third party builder's report?

Our reports are prepared by or under a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) and are suitable for most standard due diligence and finance conditions. However, each lender has their own policies, so you should always confirm any specific requirements with your lawyer or bank before relying on the report.

Do you check for moisture or leaks?

Yes. As part of our pre-purchase inspections we carry out non-invasive moisture readings in key risk areas (for example, around bathrooms and external doors) and look for signs of leaks or past water damage. Invasive testing is not included but can be discussed if required.
